Advising Services.

Since January of 2008 I have served as the undergraduate advisor for the Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian Studies Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

If you are searching for a major that will offer you interdisciplinary training in language(s) (we offer: Spanish, Portuguese, Yucatec Maya, and Quechua), cultural, historical and contemporary perspectives, and a "home-away-from-home" on this immense campus, please consider contacting me.

Our program is small enough that you can receive personalized, attentive advising. I strive to get to know my students on a more personal level and seek ways to help them connect their academic studies with internship, volunteer and study abroad opportunities.  In addition, I do my best to offer career advising to the extent I am currently able.

Should you have any questions, or would like to get together to discuss our program, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be delighted to speak with you!

Sincerely,

Sarah Ripp
