Community Involvement and Service Positions

Since 2008 I have been working as the Assistant Director of the Latin American, Caribbean & Iberian Studies Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Within this role I am responsible for providing academic advising to approximately 65 undergraduate students.  In addition, I develop on campus programming for our center while engaging in community and K-12 educational outreach.  Currently, I am completing a course through UW-Madison which I hope will ultimately lead to my becoming a Global Career Development Facilitator.  Upon receipt of this certification, I plan to greatly expand the current career advising services I provide our students with.
